Wheelchair Operation Manual
I. Unfolding the Wheelchair
- Lock both drive wheels.
- Gently pull both handgrips upward to unfold the backrest (for foldable-back models).
- Hold the handgrips and slightly pull the frame outward to both sides.
- Lift one rear wheel slightly off the ground and maintain this position.
- Press down on the seat cushion of the grounded side with your palm to fully unfold.
Caution: Risk of pinching fingers when unfolding via seat tubes.
II. Folding the Wheelchair
- Lock both drive wheels.
- Press down the backrest folding mechanism and fold both handgrips downward (for foldable-back models).
- Fold up the footrests.
- Pull both sides of the seat cushion upward to gradually close the frame.
- Press the outer sides of both armrests inward to complete folding.
Caution: Do not hold armrests during folding - pinching hazard.
III. Boarding/Alighting Procedures
- Lock both drive wheels.
Warning: Unlocked wheels may cause dangerous sliding - always engage brakes.
- Fold up the footrests.
Warning: Never step on footrests when boarding/alighting - serious fall risk.
Warning: Do not place feet on raised footrests.
- Firmly grip the wheelchair and transition your weight gradually.
- Lower the footrests.
Alighting Special Note:
Always engage brakes first, then reverse the above steps in order.
Reclining Mechanism Operation
- Engage brakes on both wheels and verify the anti-tip device is securely installed.
- Grip the backrest angle adjustment lever (located on upper handle tubes at an inclined angle) and slowly tilt the backrest downward/backward.
- To return upright: Hold the backrest adjustment lever while gradually lifting the backrest upward.
Important Notes:
• Never adjust backrest angle on sloped surfaces.
• Do not sit on the backrest when fully reclined.

When boarding/alighting:
- NEVER stand on footrests or apply weight to them
- ALWAYS engage wheel brakes first

Seating Requirements:
- Maintain balanced weight distribution
- Keep torso firmly against backrest
- Never lean outside the wheelchair frame (tip hazard)

Slope Restrictions:
- Do not attempt inclines independently
- Brakes are NOT for downhill speed control
- Never turn while descending (rollover risk)
- Prohibited on slopes exceeding 8° inclination

Handling & Maintenance:
- Always lift using designated frame connectors (pinch prevention)
- Avoid corrosive disinfectants (acids/alkalis)
- Regularly check all fasteners, especially rear axle nuts
- Do not adjust pre-set crossbar nuts under seat

Usage Limitations:
- Designed for flat outdoor surfaces only
- For reclining models: Always deploy rear support legs before tilting
