Medical Oxygen Valve Box

The Medical Oxygen Valve Box is a crucial device for medical oxygen supply, responsible for the storage and control of medical gases. It is a new and practical type of gas valve box.

Medical Oxygen Valve Boxes can be categorized into single-line, dual-line, triple-line, quadruple-line, and quintuple-line configurations, among others. They primarily consist of two components: the outer casing and the oxygen pipeline assembly.

Medical oxygen is a life-support system for hospitals and a critical pharmaceutical product. The safety of medical gases must meet the following requirements:

• Continuous gas supply
• Adequate flow rate and pressure
• Gas identification
• Gas quality

In medical oxygen systems, dual-line gas supply (left and right) is often employed, with manual or automatic switching to ensure uninterrupted supply. Gas terminal outlets must provide sufficient volume, stable pressure, and adjustable flow rates.

Medical gases have always posed significant safety risks, with numerous incidents of gas leakage reported in the past. Therefore, improving medical gas systems and eliminating potential hazards are urgent priorities. Hospitals typically maintain at least a 3-day reserve of medical oxygen in their storage facilities.

To ensure safe gas usage, pipelines and terminals are marked with distinct colors and labels to differentiate between various medical gases. Additionally, non-interchangeable connectors and sockets are used for different gas types to prevent misconnections.
